Program Meet pick from Airport and drive to Sinharaja Rain Forest. Sinharaja is the last surviving stretch of virgin rainforest I Sri Lanka. Along with 26 plus endemic birds, with exotic colours and sounds. Best season for birdwatching expedition is March – August. There about 7 major waterfalls to hike.

Drive – 2 Hrs

Night Stay – Singharaja.

Notes/ Tips – Hiking shoes and comfortable clothing.

Program – Take an early morning birdwatching walk and proceed to Yala.  Option for camping or hotel in Tissamaharama. Relax the evening.

Drive – 2.30 hours of drive time.

Program – Early morning by 05:00 am proceed Yala National Park, which has the highest density leopards in South Asia. Huge lakes, dry country woodland, with masses of birds, wildlife including sloth bears, spotted deed crocodiles and wild pigs.

Proceed to Bentota for the evening. Enroute visits to Dutch Fort in Galle, Turtle Hatchery and a boat cruise on the Island’s largest wetland with mangroves, Maaduganga.

Program – As per flight schedule, visit Negombo beach for catamaran photography, and transfer to Airport.
